Who you are buying from
This shop is run by the company below. These are the details section 43 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA) asks us to give you.
Consumers and businesses
Some rights below are for consumers only. Under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) a consumer is a person, or a business whose annual turnover or asset value is below the threshold the Minister sets (R2 million at the time of writing). Under ECTA a consumer is a person who buys for their own use, not for a business. Where a section applies only to consumers, it says so.
Prices and VAT
Prices are in South African rand.
We show each price excluding VAT first, with the price including VAT beside or under it. VAT is charged at % and is shown as its own line in your basket, at checkout and on your tax invoice.
We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices.
Prices are for the product as shown, unbranded. Branding (your logo printed, embroidered or engraved), set-up and artwork are quoted separately.
Order more of one product, in any mix of its colours and sizes, and each unit costs less. The price for your quantity is shown on the product page and in your basket before you pay.
Delivery is added at checkout. Courier delivery costs per order.
If a price on the site is wrong because of an obvious mistake, we will tell you before we accept your order, and you may cancel it at no cost.
Your order
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when your payment is confirmed and we email you the order confirmation.
Our stock comes from our suppliers, and some items show "stock to confirm". If an item you paid for turns out to be unavailable, we tell you as soon as we know and refund what you paid for it within 30 days.
Before you pay, check the colours, sizes and quantities in your order: checkout asks you to confirm them.
Your order, its confirmation and your tax invoice are kept in your account (or sent to your email if you check out as a guest), so you can see and save the record of the transaction.
Payment
You pay on PayFast's secure payment page: card, instant EFT and the other methods PayFast offers you there. We never see or store your full card number.
Hosting, domains and website packages renew on the card you pay with, so they need an account and a card.
Payflex splits an order into four interest-free instalments: the first at checkout and the rest every two weeks, collected by Payflex. It is for goods within Payflex's order limits, subject to Payflex's approval, and its own terms apply; late or missed instalments may carry fees from Payflex.
New customers paying by card may be charged a card processing fee. It is shown as its own line before you pay.
Information you give us is handled as our privacy notice describes.
Delivery and collection
We deliver anywhere in South Africa by courier, usually to working days after dispatch. The goods are your responsibility once they are delivered to the address you gave us, or handed to you at collection. The full details are on our delivery page.
Branded and custom orders
Branded orders are quoted, not bought in the basket: add the product to your quote list, and we send you a quote and a proof showing where your logo goes, how big, and how it is applied.
We start production only once you have approved the proof in writing and paid. Check the proof carefully: we print what you approve, including its spelling and colours.
Colours printed on different materials can differ slightly from the proof and from each other.
You confirm that you have the right to use the logos, names and artwork you send us, and you are responsible if they infringe someone else's rights.
Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, such as branded items, cannot be returned because you changed your mind (ECTA section 42(2)). Your rights for faulty goods still apply.
Cancelling an order (cooling-off)
If you are a consumer under ECTA, you may cancel an online order for unbranded goods without giving a reason, within 7 days after you receive the goods. You pay only the direct cost of returning them, and we refund you in full within 30 days of your cancellation. For services, the 7 days run from the day of the agreement. How to do it is on our returns page.
Faulty goods
Under the CPA, goods must be of good quality, work as they should, and last a reasonable time. If goods you bought are faulty within 6 months of delivery, return them and you choose whether we repair them, replace them or refund you. This does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or branding that matches the proof you approved.
Hosting, domains and websites
Hosting plans, website packages and cloud servers are subscriptions. They are charged monthly or yearly, as shown when you buy, and renew on your card until you cancel.
You can cancel a subscription in your account under Services. It stops renewing at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep the service until then.
Domain names are registered in your name with the registry for that domain ending. Registries publish some registrant details and set their own rules. Once a domain is registered, the registration fee cannot be refunded.
If you are a consumer on a fixed-term agreement, the CPA lets you cancel it at any time with 20 business days' notice. We may charge a reasonable cancellation fee, as that Act allows.
You may not use our hosting for anything unlawful, for spam, or for malware. If you do, we may suspend the service after telling you why, or at once where the law or the safety of other customers requires it.
Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for the goods and services we sell you as the law requires. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, arising from an order. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have, or a duty we owe, under the CPA or ECTA.
Questions and complaints
Please tell us first: the ways to reach us are on our contact page, and we will work with you to put it right. If we cannot resolve a complaint, a consumer may approach the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud or the National Consumer Commission. South African law applies to these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one on this page when you placed it. The date it was last changed is at the top of the page.
