Courier delivery

We deliver door to door anywhere in South Africa.

Delivery costs per order, whatever its size. It is added at checkout, before you pay.

Delivery takes to working days after dispatch. Outlying areas can take a little longer.

We let you know when your order is on its way.

Best Buys: imported items

Best Buys items are sent from our partner warehouse abroad straight to your door. They travel separately from anything we send from our own warehouse, so a mixed order arrives in two parcels.

At checkout you choose the courier for them and see its price and a delivery window, usually to working days. That window is the delivery date we agree with you. Collection is not available for imported items.

When the parcel leaves the warehouse we email you its tracking number, and your order page shows where it is.

We add an estimate of the South African import duties and VAT at checkout and settle customs ourselves, so there is nothing to pay on delivery.

Goods brought into South Africa may attract customs duty and import VAT, which SARS charges the person receiving the parcel. The courier collects them, often with a clearance fee of its own, before it delivers. At checkout we show an estimate; where a courier line includes duties and VAT, it says so and there is nothing more to pay.

How the estimate is worked out: duty of about % of the goods' value, then % VAT on the value plus % plus the duty, as SARS calculates import VAT. The real amount depends on how SARS classifies the item and the exchange rate on the day, so it can be higher or lower.

When your order leaves us

Unbranded goods in stock leave us once your payment is confirmed and the supplier has released the stock. If anything is delayed or unavailable, we tell you and you choose whether to wait, change it, or have it refunded.

Branded orders are made after you approve the proof and pay. The quote gives the production time.

We deliver within 30 days of your order unless we agreed a different date with you. If we cannot, you may cancel and we refund you.

Collect from us

Choose "Collect from us" at checkout. There is no delivery charge. We email you when your order is ready: bring your order number.

When it arrives

Someone must be there to receive the parcel. Please check it before you sign. If it is damaged or something is missing, see damaged or missing on delivery. The goods are your responsibility once they are delivered to the address you gave us.

Hosting, domains and websites

Nothing is shipped. We set up your service after payment and email you the details.
