Four-star guest house in the Klein Karoo
Fynbos Hollow sits at the end of a quiet lane, five minutes' walk from the Montagu village centre. Days here start with a long breakfast on the stoep and end with a glass of local muscadel as the cliffs turn pink. In between, there are hot springs, the Cogmanskloof hiking trails and some of the best wine farms on Route 62.

About
Pieter and Anna Swanepoel bought the old farmhouse in 2011 and spent three years restoring its thick walls, yellowwood floors and pressed-steel ceilings. They opened the first three rooms in 2014 and added the garden cottage a few years later.
We still live on the property and run the guest house ourselves with a small team from Montagu. We know every hiking trail, every farm stall and the best table in town for a Friday night.

One of us greets every guest, and our phone numbers are in every room.
Breakfast comes from farms in the valley and our own vegetable garden.
Solar power, rainwater tanks and a garden that needs almost no watering.
