Route 62, two and a half hours from Cape Town

Slow mornings in a quiet Montagu garden.

Six rooms in a restored 1890s farmhouse, a saltwater pool among the fynbos and the Langeberg mountains outside every window.

Four-star guest house in the Klein Karoo

Come for a weekend, stay for the week

Fynbos Hollow sits at the end of a quiet lane, five minutes' walk from the Montagu village centre. Days here start with a long breakfast on the stoep and end with a glass of local muscadel as the cliffs turn pink. In between, there are hot springs, the Cogmanskloof hiking trails and some of the best wine farms on Route 62.
