Our story

From one corner to three trucks

Kasi Bites Street Kitchen

Kasi Bites was started in 2017 by Mandla and Palesa Mokoena, who sold kotas out of the back of a bakkie outside a Dobsonville taxi rank.

Three trucks and a growing team later, we still cook every order fresh, and we donate a hundred meals every month to a local soup kitchen.

Always fresh

Sauces made daily, nothing reheated.

Fair prices

Meals from R35, no surprises.

Give back

A hundred meals a month to a local soup kitchen.
