Dassiesfontein Orchards
Dassiesfontein has been in the Retief family since 1936. Today Hendrik and Nomsa Retief run it with their two daughters and a team of 38 permanent staff, many of whom have worked these rows for twenty years or more.
We keep part of the farm wild for bees and birds, recycle our water through the dam, and send the culls to a juicing partner in Wolseley rather than the bin.
