About

Engineers who live with our own systems

Kopano Solar was founded in 2018 by electrical engineers Tshepo Modise and Wikus Botha. Kopano means togetherness, and we started by helping neighbours in Midrand and Kyalami get through load-shedding.

We have since installed systems on homes and small businesses across Johannesburg and Pretoria. Every one is designed in-house, fitted by our own team and registered with the municipality.
